"40" is Just A Number
Actually, this is more than 40, but it is good to have a visual concept of such a large number. No rain in June, so this is the end of the tomato crop for 2008. Thinking of Michelle and her love of fresh garden tomatoes, and her interest in the number 4-0.

"Gardner Street Gossip"
That was the name of Dianne and my first (official) web site back in 1997. I came across the code archive while searching for some old software last night.
Drop a quarter in to old Wayback Machine and take a stroll down memory lane...

Super Huge Moon
Tomorrow night is the solstice moon. Supposedly it will look super huge as it rises above the horizon. Check out the NASA site for more details on the event and the illusion.

Charles! Over here! I'm Open!
I can't even say it was "controlled" chaos, but it was a lot of fun. A few more pictures and some short video clips are up on Flickr.

Father's Day in Houston
We had a great day today celebrating Father's Day and Bill's birthday, first at the pool and then at Bill's house. I think its safe to say that everyone is completly exhausted. (Charles even dozed off in the car on the way home).
Happy Father's Day!

California Girls
Fantastic weather in Northern California, along the coast to Santa Cruz. Very lovely visit. Great fun, but glad to be home.
