End of Texas Spring

We had dinner here tonight with some of HHs High School friends since Woody Griggs was here from Los Angeles. We picked some stems from the pasture to remind Woody of his Texas roots.

  1. Wow. I didn't realize there was so many different kinds. How far did you have to go to find them? Seems like the pasture was cut short (or eaten short by the girls) the last time we were there.

  2. Didn't have to go far, just look closely. Thistles, Indian Paint Brush (on the way out) Mexican Hats, and a pink star flower I don't know the name of. It is fun to make a bouquet. The purple Larkspur is in the front bed, and very prolific (got a start from Aunt Ruth.) It's in the yard, and we just don't mow it. GREAT POTATOES ready for next weekend.

Hi - I stumbled here via Google. My name is Keith Marzullo; I'm THS 1971. I'd love to hear about Woody. If you have the time, please drop me a line. You can find me by googling my name: my home page is the first one listed.

    Thank you!
