Field Day
We're lucky Mr. Von Gonten is available to help with the John Deere. He's been here since 8:15, and it looks pretty serious, doesn't it? Hoses, I think. HH got as far as the red gate when he noticed the leaking.
It's A Bird!
After last weekend's busy porch event, and the wind toppling over the Norfolk Pine (breaking three eggs), we have one baby bird. It's very quiet right now, but the parents visit regularly with a bug in their mouths.

Engagement Party
Russell and I took over 100 photos, but I have never tried to link them to an online service, so let me know if you can view these.

Happy Couple
Russell and Dianne were the perfect co-hosts to our party for Steven Holliman. Russell handled the grill, and Dianne handled all the other chores. It was a good evening, well-attended by both families of Steven and Stacy. I'll post a link of the photos.

The Telectroscope
We are headed to Rockdale and I just heard about this. I can't really
check it out from the car but it sounds cool... if its for real.

And the Hits Just Keep on Coming!
Last night was the second night of Creative Dancing, starring Thomas and his class.
Well, at least the lighting was better for video...

Charles Dances
Charles' class had their Creative Dance program tonight. I wish there were more photos or better video, but the lighting was just too dim. Oh well, hopefully Thomas' performance tomorrow night will be brighter.
Geotagging Photos
Geotagging is the act of adding location metadata to uploaded photos. New cameras today even have GPS chips inside to automatically geotag the pictures as they are taken. Doesn't sound interesting? How about doing a search on Picasa for Rockdale, TX. Or better yet, Flicker has a much better presentation of geotag search results.
Kind cool now?

End of Texas Spring
We had dinner here tonight with some of HHs High School friends since Woody Griggs was here from Los Angeles. We picked some stems from the pasture to remind Woody of his Texas roots.
Closing Ceremonies
The Bees got together one last time for the closing ceremonies which of course included... TROPHIES!

Seinfeld
I know that there are a few Seinfeld fans in the HollimanNet network. The question is, how good of a fan are you... really? Find out and let us know in the comments.

The Bees Have It!
The first season of Tee-Ball is over, and what a fun season it was for Charles and Thomas (thanks to Dianne and the rest of the mom's). Of course, winning the last game was cool too!

Bees Lose
More Highlights:
Thank you Auntie Jen!
Update: Sorry for the lack of explanation, but when emailing a photo to the blog it doesn't allow any more text than the subject. We had a great time today though, even before we ever got to the game. The boys even got to see this photo up on the Jumbotron!
