Apple We had a "crop" of three apples, picked two (decided they were very tasty), went back for the last one, and it had disappeared. So some critter had a third of our harvest.
Yes! There are two apple trees among the peach trees you and HH put in the ground our first spring. HH says the crop next year might actually be more productive as the trees are just getting mature.
Walter had used that approach with pecans before...maybe when we have more time to investigate. They were nice crisp apples, though. Next year C & T can pick some for their snack.
Is this from the tree I planted?

ReplyDeletelost a third of your crop? isn't there some sort of government program to help farmer's out when they lose their crop? ;)
