meal time!
A blog for the Holliman family and friends.

Sick, but not too sick for a little "fun time" outside this afternoon under
the cover of a few (non-productive) rain clouds.

Orientation for Zion pre-school was tonight. Basically, we're just moving one room to the left: Charles starts in a new class with new teachers in the 3-year-olds, and Thomas moves from the Toddler class to Charles's old classroom.
We also managed to have some fun in the church lobby with some of Charles's classmates.
Both the boys woke up with some sort of cold today, so its going to be a boring day around the house. Charles looks and sounds really puny…

Thomas woke up earlier that normal and therefor had to take an early nap. But even though his cough sounds bad, for the most part he’s not acting sick.

When is 24 hours really 48? When the 24 refers to the “24 hour stomach flu” and you have 2 boys in the house. Looks like today is all about Thomas.
As a side note, Charles woke up feeling just fine this morning.
Spent the day on Tiki Island at Lynn’s friend’s house and had a great time. Didn’t get into the water though, but we were ready…

Off on their cruise, enjoying their wedding anniversary… we hope you all are having a great time!

Not because of this morning’s procedure, but probably because a few people are talking about him… and wondering how it all went.
Everything went fine. Dianne and Thomas arrived at the hospital around 6am this morning. And at 7:55 he was all “prepped” and ready to go…

Well, prepped at least. But all went well and by 9:38am (aren’t the clocks in digital cameras great?) he and Dianne were back in the car and headed for home.

Very hungry, and very sleepy, but safe and sound. After a snack (a pancake, scrambled egg, and a sausage patty) and an early nap he was his old cheerful self this afternoon. And I swear he’s already “talking” more…
With Thomas at the hospital, Charles got to spend the morning with me. Which included lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack. Verdict?
The food: not so good.
