Fence Project
Another fun sunny day in Rockdale. We took up a useless fence by the hay pasture, 34 metal t-posts, and 10+ wooded posts (with a chain and the tractor) after removing and rolling all the barbed wire first. Wish you all could have been here! Looks really good though. We had a nice rain on Saturday so maybe we will make it until Spring.

Another Birthday
I woke up this morning to find that Dianne and Charles were up early making a birthday cake for me. Woohoo!
And thanks for all the thoughts and good wishes. All is well here – not much time to really celebrate a birthday, but its going to be well worth it.

Belated Birthday Pictures
It was a beautiful day for a party. Three birthdays, about 24 kids, and a whole lot of pizza.
As you might guess, Charles didn’t want to have anything to do with the pony. But I was a little surprised that Thomas was really a little unsure of the pony as well.
But that didn’t mean that Charles didn’t have any fun.
And Thomas was able to find a few friends to play with as well.
The rest of the pictures are up in the gallery.

Hog Sighting
Brother Russ went walking early last Sunday morning and came upon a feral hog near the creek, and was able to snap a quick photo. Glad Russ didn't get any closer! They are big.

Weekend Project
Russ and Sandy came to visit, and didn't mind helping with the String Project. We're about two-thirds finished. We'll be happy to see these remnants go up in smoke.

Quick Trip
Making a quick (1 day) trip up to CES in Vegas today… all is going well… lots of walking and lots of talking… but all very productive, I hope.
The day was just too pretty to be spending it inside all day even if it was to take a look at every new cool device coming out this year. So we had to at least go outside to grab a hot dog for lunch.
And that’s when I spotted this sign on the side of the Hilton. Oh, for just one extra day…
