Have not had time to do much posting lately, so I made sure the camera was handy at dinner tonight.

Bobby,
I received your comment but there was no e-mail address attached so we have no way to get back to you. Hopefully you will be checking back soon and read the new posts…
I know Bruce (I’ve always called him ‘uncle’). I asked my father tonight and he speculated that your father’s name might be Elton Holliman, of Big Springs. If that’s correct then your sisters were at the last reunion. He also said that his grandfather’s name was James (Jim) Franklin Holliman.
If you read this message, please send me an e-mail (russell@hollimannet.com) so that we can converse.
When I first started the blog, I used a third-party to handle the comments because they offered a few features that Blogger did not offer at the time. Today I received a comment that somehow got entered into Blogger’s comment system (which is now as good as the third party’s) and I had to switch the entire blog back to Blogger’s system to recover the message. I would like to just leave the comment system as-is, using Blogger’s interface, but that means that the previous comments will not be available.
Is this a big deal? Let me know because we can always implement the old system…
Just wanted to post a message and thank everyone that traveled so far to help celebrate Thomas’ and Nikki’s birthday. It was a great time and we had a lot of fun.
More pictures posted to the gallery…
First it was the opossums a couple of weeks ago, and then yesterday afternoon: the chickens
Followed up by a visit from this guy last night…
Dianne convinced me to come with them to the park this afternoon to have a little fun on Thomas’ birthday… needless to say, we had a great time on a such a beautiful day.
And after the park, the family headed over to Double Dave’s for a pizza buffet…
note the blurring hand
Picked the boys up from school on Tuesday, and since Dianne needed to work a little late, we decided to hang out at the playground…
With all the rain this weekend in Rockdale, we decided to break out the train set.
And what a “HIT” it was…
We made it home safe and sound after a great weekend in Rockdale! The boys were finally asleep when we arrived but they woke up long enough to give Dianne a big ‘ol smile.
